Frisco real estate

Frisco is the gem of Summit County because it lies in the heart of county, close to all of the major ski areas and towns. Main Street is a mix of old and new — historic structures intertwine with modern shops and restaurants — and while it retains a small-town feel, it dumps out into Interstate 70 for easy access to Vail and Denver. During the summer, the town comes alive with music concerts, barbecue challenges and festivals, and in the winter it acts as the perfect location to stay while visiting the ski resorts, including Vail.
Frisco real estate has seen some of the largest jumps in real estate value, not only due to its central location, but also due to the $40 million hospital, which opened in December 2005 offering Level III care. Around the time the hospital came in, the face of Main Street began to change, with new, multi-storied, mixed-use buildings replacing old one-level commercial buildings. As a result, Frisco real estate has seen higher average sales prices during some years than Breckenridge. It also increased at about 5% the two years after the Sept. 11 tragedy, while other towns’ real estate values flattened.
Frisco real estate properties range from older established homes to newer luxury townhomes on Main Street and condos that line Lake Dillon. The family-oriented town offers plenty of outdoor recreation, including Nordic skiing, dinner sleigh rides, biking, disc golf, boating, skateboarding and hiking.
